LITTLE LEAVES PRESCHOOL

Little Leaves Preschool is a member of the Preschool Learning Alliance and is run by a Committee of parents who are elected each year.

We are welcoming more parents to become committee members. Have a chat to us about how you can help and join, thank you.

The group is registered with OFSTED. Our aims at Little Leaves Preschool are in accordance with the EYFS Statutory Framework and Development Matters. The last OFSTED inspection for education and care is available for parents on request. Government funding for 2, 3 and 4 year olds is available. The staff work together as a team to provide the best possible care for your children. The minimum staffing ratios are:-

1:4 for children aged 2 years
1:8 for children aged 3 and over.

OUR STAFF

The Supervisor and Deputy run the day to day at Little Leaves Preschool. There are 7 other preschool assistants with a variety of qualifications and skills which make them a great team. Not forgetting that they are all Mummy’s too and are very understanding!

Tapestry – Online Learning Journey
All children attending Little Leaves Pre-school have a personal online Learning Journey which records photos, observations and comments, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage. We use Tapestry, a system, which is hosted in the UK on secure servers. You will have secure access (via email address and password) to your child’s Learning Journey and, in addition to viewing our contributions, we encourage you to add to it by uploading photos and comments, or commenting on observations made by us.

As a parent/carer you are legally required not to publish any of your child’s observations, photographs or videos on any social media site and keep the login details within your trusted family and ensure they follow the same guidelines.
